You can cut a sketch object into two pieces at a point you select in an open drawing. You can split lines, polylines, circles, and arcs.

1. Select the line.
   

   

2. On the Drawing tab, clickSplit.
3. Pick a point on the line to indicate the location for splitting.
   

   

4. Tekla Structures splits the line into two.
