Align drawing objects
You can align objects (texts, marks, views and graphical objects) to the bottom, to the middle, to the left, to the center, to the right, and to the top. You can also position objects horizontally or vertically at equal distances from each other.
- Open a drawing.

Select the objects that you want to align.
You can select one or several objects using appropriate selection switches or filters and area selectionmethod of selecting objects that are included in a certain rectangular area of a model
In addition to the selected area, selection switches and selection filters control which object types are selected.
, for example. If you want to align marks and notes only, you can use Drawing content manager for first selecting the building objects and then the related marks or notes.For more information about Drawing content manager , see Drawing content manager.

Select the aligning command from the toolbar:
Click
to align objects to the bottom.Click
to align objects to the top.Click
to align objects to the left.Click
to align objects to the right.Click
to align objects to the center.Click
to align objects to the middle.Click
to position objects to the vertical center at equal distances.Click
to position objects to the horizontal center at equal distances. -
Pick a location for the alignment.
If you have mixed objects selected, you will be asked to select which objects you want to align.

If you selected one of the two commands that position objects to center at equal distances, type the distance in the displayed dialog box.
Tip:To create a row of objects, align them first to the top and then position them horizontally at equal distances from each other. You do not need to reselect the objects between the two commands.
Align selected marks and notes

Click
Align marks on the Annotations tab.
This aligns the selected marks and notes by stacking the marks or notes and placing them evenly.
This command applies to all marks and associative notes, except weld marks.
