Spiral beams in custom components
You can now use spiral beams in custom components. The following object propertiesproperties associated with an object type
Usually a single object property includes a default value that the user can modify.

You can bind spiral beambeam that follows the form of a helix and is defined by a start point, center point and the rotation axis
Spiral beams can be concrete spiral beams or steel spiral beams. They can be used to create spiral staircases, complex architectural structures, and concrete parking ramps, for example.
Spiral beam can rise from the work plane or be flat. If the spiral beam rises, the total rise is defined between the start and the end point.

Change the language of the dialog editor
You can now change the language of the custom component dialog editortool used for modifying the custom component dialog box in custom component editor
The custom component dialog editor is used for adding and arranging the dialog box elements, such as images, tabs, and lists.
. Previously, the dialog editor user interface was always shown in English, regardless of the language you had selected. If you select the Auto option, the dialog editor automatically follows the language of the Tekla Structures user interface.
Wall layout tools is a set of components that you can use for creating and modifying all common types of concrete walls, such as solid precast panels from single layers to double walls and sandwich walls, and different wallplate that represents a structure such as a wall or roof panel
In Tekla Structures, a panel is created by picking two or more points.

Floor Layout creates floors built of precast filigree and hollow core slabs. You can now use Floor Layout from the Concrete tab on the ribbon, click Slab > Floor layout.
On the Advanced tab, you can now set the minimum required width of a single neck on either side of the slabplate that represents a concrete structure

If either of the necks on the sides of the opening is smaller than the defined neck width, the neck is cut off completely. In addition, the total width of the necks must be bigger than the minimum slab middle zone neck width, otherwise the slab is split into two separate slabs (the width of the actual opening is the same as the width of the slab).
The handling of the end nose has been improved so that if there are noses on both sides of the slab, these two end noses are checked separately and cut off if the width of the single nose gets smaller than the given minimum required nose width. Earlier the end noses were never cut off, no matter how narrow they were.
Rebar end trimming
Rebar end trimming has been changed so that now it is possible to modify the end covers of rebars that have end anchors created with Rebar end anchor.
The Rebar end trimming dialog box now has two tabs: Rebar coupler and Rebar end anchor. On the new Rebar end anchor tab, you can define the end cover thickness and anchor offset gapany space between two objects
The term ’gap’ is used in its general sense in Tekla Structures.
at the bar end. By selecting Yes in the Get free gap from auto attribute file option, you can control the anchor offset with the attribute tables ( .anchor.csv ) in column AnchorOffset. Give the bar size specific values at each row.
If the anchor offset is not defined, the default value is the same as the anchor offset defined in the Rebar end anchor component.
