Align Leader Line

Align Leader Lineline that connects an annotation object to the related object or point

tool is to arrange the selected leader lines of rebar mark / part markmark that includes a set of selected property elements related to a part

Part marks are used for identifying constructions, for giving information about welding, for giving information about assemblies to a workshop, for giving information about how parts should be connected to each other, and for creating bills of quantities, for example.

In the US, the term piece mark is used to refer to position number.

How to Locate

Align Leader LineApplicationpart of Tekla Structures functionality that is developed in order to extend the capability of Tekla Structures but that is not included in the Tekla Structures installation

will be available in Component catalogue (Ctrl+F).


Usage

Click the icon or select the ‘Align Leader Line’ from the ‘Global’ list and press ‘Run’

  

The above dialog opens.

1. Select the Marks which are required for alignment.
2. Choose various options available from the dialog according to your requirement.
3. Pick the point to align (This input prompts only when the options are selected as Auto or Alignment Point is ticked).
4. Click on Align button to finish the alignment.

Leader Line Shape Controls the shape of leader line such as straight line and L shape.
Leader Line Direction Controls the direction of the leader line such as horizontal and vertical.
Alignment Point Considers the selected point as a reference point for aligning the leader lines
Spacing Controls the spacing between the selected leader lines whilst aligning.

Note: Leader line direction options automatically rotates the selected marks accordingly, this rotation is applicable only for Reinforcement marks and not for Part marks.
