will create an ASCII transfer file and a report file containing all the Kingspan components selected by the user in the current Tekla Structures model. The ASCII transfer file can be used in addition to or instead of using the standard order forms. However, before using this ordering method, you should first contact Kingspan Ltd.
Any problems with the creation of the file will be written to a log file, Kingspan Error.log, which will be written to the current Tekla Structures model directory. Problems will either be errors, e.g. holes in invalid positions, which will prevent creation of a transfer file, or warnings, e.g. Flange Holes in Multichannels, where the data will still be written to the file, but it is recommended that you contact Kingspan Ltd. Both the transfer file and the report file, Kingspan Report.log will also be written to that directory. These files will overwrite existing files with the same name without any prompt or warning to the user.
Contract Number: This is the Kingspan Order Number and is used to specify the file that is created for the file transfer. The file name will always be given a “.wdx” extension as required by Kingspan. This file will overwrite an existing file with the same name without any prompt or warning to the user.
