Opening in wall (40)

The Opening in wall (40) component can create an opening in a concrete wallplate that represents a structure such as a wall or roof panel

In Tekla Structures, a panel is created by picking two or more points.

In cast-in-place concrete the term wall refers to a concept similar to panel.

. The size and position of the opening can be adjusted in many ways.

You can also create an insulation panel in the concrete wall with this component.

Objects created

  • Opening in wall. The shape can be square or circular.

  • Optionally, insulation can be added to the wall.

Before you start

Before applying the component, create the wall.
