Polygon Hole Generation (33) creates a polygon-shaped holesmall hollow open throughout a part or assembly that is usually used for fastening parts with bolts or other such objects

Hole is created in the same way as bolts and hole properties are defined in the bolt properties.

Selection order

To create a polygon-shaped hole:

  1. Select the part or object (component) to be cut.


    You can cut other components, such as Modeling of floor bay (66) with this component.

  2. Click the middle mouse button to end selecting.

  3. Pick the corner points of the polygon-shaped hole.

  4. Click the middle mouse button to end picking.
