Non-english character sets exported incorrectly in DWG/DXF drawings
Question:
I'm exporting a drawing with Chinese characters to DWG, but the Chinese characters are not displayed correctly.
Answer:
You can show different character sets properly also in exported drawings by setting variable XS_EXPORT_CODEPAGE
in advanced options. It overrides automatic selection of codepage in export. The available Windows code pages are listed below. For further information see also Microsoft's support article on Language Identifiers and Locales. These instructions apply to other non-English character sets too, e.g Korean, Japanese and Cyrillic characters.
To change the code page in Tekla Structures go to Tools > Options > Advanced Options > Export
set XS_EXPORT_CODEPAGE and choose code page from below.
